A collection of Viking inspired tabletweaving patterns

I developed these patterns to weave for my Viking garb. They are inspired by the Birka finds, but do not include brocading, although it is easy enough to adapt the patterns for brocading.
The patterns can be woven using three colours, as seen in the pictures, or can be woven with two colours (here the brown would be replaced with tan) to create fuller bodied serpents.
These patterns can be woven by novices who can read a threading diagram, as well as intermediate and advanced weavers. Each diagram includes a picture of that pattern as woven on the band.
There are five patterns included; each pattern is offered in two directions, so that alternating versions of a pattern results in a twist-neutral effect. This is particularly helpful if using a loom where twist build-up can cause problems.
