This booklet includes a collection of strapwork patterns inspired, in part, by the brocaded strapwork found at Birka and other archeological sites. The patterns are woven using two colours and 24 cards, plus any selvage cards.
These patterns can be woven by novices who can read a threading diagram, as well as intermediate and advanced weavers. Each diagram includes a picture of that pattern as woven on the band.
